What makes eccentric bearings different

Eccentric bearings use an offset inner ring bore relative to the rolling element centreline. The offset allows simplified adjustment in vibrating screens, feeders and crushers where the shaft must be tensioned or positioned without separate eccentric sleeves.

Keyway and locking arrangements vary by manufacturer. Housing fit, lubrication and vibration duty must be evaluated together.
