Rexnord Viva overview

Rexnord Viva elastomeric couplings are non-lubricated, material-flexing tire couplings within the Regal Rexnord portfolio. Viva uses split-in-half polyurethane elements with design features distinct from the Omega family, including overload protection geometry in the flex element.

Close-coupled and spacer configurations

Viva families include standard close-coupled hubs (V designations) and spacer variants (VS designations) for pump maintenance layouts. Hub and element combinations are Viva-series specific and are not interchangeable with Omega hubs or with each other across V and VS lines without full re-selection.

Compared to Omega

Both Omega and Viva are elastomeric tire couplings for industrial drives, but they are separate families with different hub geometry and element design. Changing from one family to the other requires full coupling re-selection. See Rexnord Omega for the complementary elastomeric line.

VS series

Spacer

VS spacer variants for defined DBSE pump-maintenance layouts. VS hubs and elements are distinct from V close-coupled assemblies.

Non-lubricated

Non-lubricated elastomeric tire coupling. Maintenance centres on element condition, alignment and periodic inspection per Regal Rexnord guidance.
